- Oral Pain Medication: Over-the-counter pain relievers like acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil) can effectively reduce mild-to-moderate toothaches. Adhering to the recommended dosage is crucial. For severe toothaches, consulting a dentist for stronger pain relievers is advisable.
